Our Tournament Leaderboards boast a spectacular new formula designed to reward players in an exciting new way.
Both the Multi-table Tournaments and SnG Tournaments use the following formula:

This means that the higher you cash in tournaments and the bigger the prize pool, the more points you are going to be awarded.
Our TLB point formula is designed to account for the varying levels of skill in different buy-in tournaments, and to balance that against the number of players in a tournament. We do this by basing a player's score on the tournament's prize pool and their finishing position, instead of the buy-in of the tournament. For instance, a player who wins a $10K Guaranteed tournament with a $50+5 buy-in and 200 entrants would receive the same score as a player who wins a $10K Guaranteed tournament with a $10+1 buy-in and 1,000 entrants. In the first tournament, the player had to compete against a tougher field of players, as the level of play in $50+5 tournaments is generally quite a bit tougher than the level of play in $10+1 tournaments. However, in the second tournament the player had to beat 999 other players instead of the 199 players that had to be defeated in the first tournament. By using the prize pool and place finished, a balance is achieved between the size of the field and the player's final position.
Example:
If a player places 3rd place in a $5,000 Guarantee tournament, they will earn 45.57 points.

The result of this is: 45.57 points
