Late Registration Tournaments

In late registration tournaments, players will be seated at tables at the start of the tournament, with one or two seats left open per table for late registrants. Late registration will no longer end when the first player is eliminated or when all seats are filled.

Late registration will remain open until one of the following occurs:

  • the set time for the tournament expires
  • the blind level set for the tournament is reached
  • the number of players equals the number of places paid

Late Registration Timetable

Depending on the number of seats at a table, one or two seats will be left open for players who register late. Players who register late will be moved to these open seats and once all seats have been filled, a new table will be created. When a new table is created, only one late registrant will be placed at the new table. Players in the tournament will be randomly picked and placed at this new table. New tables that are created for late registrants will be the first tables to break.
