On June 6, 2008, 16 legendary all-stars from the world of sports will gather at Eagle Falls Golf Club at Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino in Palm Springs, California, for the Pro-Am Tournament of the inaugural Team Challenge celebrity golf tournament.
If you're an Ultimate Legend or Icon, you can win the chance to play golf with a list of larger-than-life celebrities that includes Charles Barkley, Mario Lemieux, Ozzie Smith, John Elway, LaDanian Tomlinson, Michael Strahan, George Brett, Pierre Larouche, Jason Kidd, and several other legendary athletes.
The Pro-Am golf package includes:
- A ticket to the Pro-Am round with a legendary all-star or other celebrity on a world-class desert course on Friday June 6
- 2 tickets to the pairings party that night hosted by Charles Barkley with a surprise world-renowned guest performing a stand-up comedy act
- VIP gallery seats for the matches Saturday and Sunday June 7-8, as well as lunch Friday, ground transportation between the golf course and hotel, and four-night accommodations at the Fantasy Springs Resort and Casino
- $750 for airfare
HOW DO I WIN?
If you're an Ultimate Legend or Icon, you've got two ways to win:
1) Enter our private $10+1 online Texas Hold'em tournament on Saturday May 17th at 4pm ET. This tournament is exclusive to Ultimate Legends and Icons and it guarantees to pay out a Pro-Am golf package to the players who finish 1st and 2nd in the tourney. A standard payout schedule applies to the remaining players.
2) We're holding a FREE, invite-only online Texas Hold'em tournament just for Ultimate Icons. The tournament gets underway on Sunday May 18th at 2pm ET and guarantees to pay out one prize package to the first place finisher.
