Between August 20th and September 16th, popularity rules at UltimateBet. That's because we're giving away seats in an exclusive $10,000 freeroll to the UltimateBet players who refer the most friends to play at UB.
Enemies and acquaintances will do just fine as well. You'll want to tap into your social circle and antisocial triangle because you'll earn one point on our Refer-a-Friend leaderboard for every player you refer who registers a new UltimateBet account and makes a deposit.
On September 16th at 11:59:59pm ET, we'll take a look at that friendly leaderboard. If you're in it, you'll win a seat in one of our Refer-a-Friend freerolls to be held September 20th and September 21st, where an $8,500 Aruba Poker Classic prize package for first place and $1,500 in tournament dollars spread out between the two final tables.
Better Friends = Better Odds of Winning
Here's where it gets interesting. While your position on the leaderboard is determined by how many players you refer, the tournament you play in is also determined by the RAI$E status levels of your referred players.
Players in the leaderboard will qualify for a freeroll. As your referred players rise through the RAI$E ranks, we'll keep adding points to your referral. The number of referral points you can earn depends on how far up the RAI$E ladder each player climbs:
1 pt for every friend referred who becomes a MEMBER.
2 pts for every friend referred who becomes a PLAYER.
3 pts for every friend referred who becomes a CONTENDER.
6 pts for every friend referred who becomes a LEGEND.
10 pts for every friend referred who becomes a ICON.
SEPTEMBER 20th - $750 tournament for all players who earn 1-5 referral points
SEPTEMBER 20th - $750 tournament for all players who earn 6+ referral points
SEPTEMBER 21st - Heads-up match between the two winners to determine the winner of a seat to the 2008 Aruba Poker Classic.
