Very Unsatisfying

Here's one of the problems with heads-up tournaments--it can all be over in a heartbeat, without the opportunity for the players to display their skills. That's what just happened in the heads-up match between Phil Hellmuth and Tom "durrrr" Dwan, which lasted all of three hands.
The two players exchanged raises until Dwan announced he was all-in. Phil instantly called and turned over pocket Aces. Dwan showed pocket Tens and was looking at a very early exit. The rail loomed as the flop came Kh-7s-2s, and by this time all eyes were on their table. Scott Clemens and Kenny Tran actually stopped their match to check out the scene.
And, on the turn, the Ten of spades. According to the live update report the crowd went "bananas". It wasn't over just yet--Phil picked up a flush draw to go with his Aces and still had some hope. But the river brought the 9d and what was perhaps the most anticipated first-round match came to an end, no doubt to the chagrin of the NBC producers.
Some small consolation for Phil--as he's wont to do, Phil asked for and recieved insurance from Patrik Antonius before the dealer spread the flop. So Phil gets back $19,000 of his $20K buy-in. Which, I suppose, is something.
