Uh, What Did You Say?

So, I watched the fifth episode of The Best Damn Poker Show a dozen times and wasn't able to maintain my focus on the show after seeing Jennifer Tilly, uh, lean over the table. You know what I'm talking about. And before you go calling me a sexist pig (again), both Annie and Phil had something to say about Tilly's décolletage. Before you criticize you need to see what she was wearing.
When I covered the WSOP this year I was outside the media room one day, utterly exhausted after a long day, and someone sidled up next to me and said, "Is Phil in there?". I didn't know that it was Jennifer who did the sidling, and hearing that breathy voice whisper in my ear did extraordinary things to my endocrine system. Things you probably don't want to hear about. So now that I've watched the show another ten times I can continue with my review.
For those who might think about trying out for the second run of The Best Damn Poker Show, it might be a good idea work on folding Q-10 every time it's dealt your way. Both Annie and Phil seem to hate that hand. And J-10, too. Don't let that pretty paint distract you. And don't go crazy making calls out of position, as Miguel Nunez did a few times to earn Phil's ire. Actually, calling in general isn't a good idea. Raise, or fold. That's pretty good no-limit advice in general, but especially when trying to impress Annie.
I think everyone who has been called into the boss's office feels a burning sense of humiliation (I know I have on the occasions it's happened to me) but it had to be even worse for Joe Reitman when his girlfriend came out of the booth and said, "I need to talk to you". It's not like Annie ripped him apart when they discussed his play during the coach's timeout, but when she came out to the table and tapped him on the shoulder...oof.
And then he came back to the table and Joe said, "She just wanted to make out for a few minutes". And Jennifer said, "Shoot, is Annie gonna call me and make out with me?" Which, if you've seen the movie Bound, which Jennifer starred in...never mind.
What the heck was I talking about...oh yeah, the show! Well, that was actually about the end of it. I don't think Nunez is gonna win an Academy Award after the tears he shed after his talk with with Phil. Nor does it appear likely that he'll win a spot at the final table...though Joe might've earned himself a spot. It looks like next week will be the start of the final table...so what the heck happened to Serinda Swan? And Patrick Warburton? No face time for them? My heart, it's broken.
