That Lightpost Just LEAPT Out At Me!

So, you may have heard (or you may have seen) that Phil Hellmuth had a little accident yesterday. Phil was driving an UltimateBet-themed race car around the Rio parking lot when something...bad happened:

Maybe we can joke about it now, but it was a really hard hit, and had the impact been on the driver's side there might've been some serious consequences. Just about every day I've been here I've driven past that bare, unusued concrete nub and wondered what would happen if, say, I plowed into it. Well, unfortunately now we know.
The plan was for Phil to drive up to the Rio in his #11 (get it, get it!) car, step out in his racing regalia, and stride into the Amazon Room to take his seat. Those plans, sadly, will have to be put on the shelf. And that's too bad, because if you'll forgive the pun, the car looks absolutely smashing. Hopefully we'll get our dented ride pushed behind the wall for some speedy repairs. And maybe next well Phil will be able drive up in his flashy race car, step out in his track suit, and make the long walk to the Main Event Final Table.
