Phil Hellmuth Sets Another Record

Actually, every time Phil makes the money in a World Series of Poker event he breaks his own record for cashes, and that's what he did last night in the $2,000 No-Limit Hold-Em event. Phil has now cashed in 58 different events, but it's almost certain that isn't the number he's thinking around right now.
No, the only number on his mind is 11, as in 11 bracelets. Which is a record Phil wants to reach so badly it's almost palpable. He's played just about every day so far at the World Series and hasn't been able to get much traction (he also took that beat with Kings when his opponent made quad Jacks that I wrote about the other day) but last night he got chips early on and kept on building his stack all through the night.
He's currently in 11th place with 91,800--there's that number 11 again. An omen? Well, if it is an omen it's not an especially obvious one. But you can follow along with today's action at 5pm ET and see if Phil can add a 21st World Series Final Table to his resume...and put him in position to win bracelet number 11.
