One Size Does Not Fit All

One of the biggest advantages online poker has over the live game is convenience. Online, you can play whenever you want. You can switch tables at will until you find a soft spot, and if you find that the fish are schooling you can play four (or six, or twelve) tables at the same time.

Thing is, if you like multi-tabling your screen can get a bit crowded. The tables overlap and when it's your turn to act it can get quite annoying as that window pops up over a table you might've been carefully studying. The reverse is also true--if you make a deep run in a poker tournament you might want to expand that table so it fills the screen (and commands your total attention).

Well, at UltimateBet that's no longer an issue. Our tables can now be re-sized--just put your cursor in the lower right-hand corner and you can expand or contract the window by dragging your cursor. You'll probably notice as well that the table graphics have been tweaked every so slightly, the cards are slightly shaded now and really seem to pop out against the virtual green baize.

If only you could re-size the tables in your local card room. Especially when you're seated between a quartet of plus-sized endomorphs who just lumbered in from the buffet and guzzle beer by the gallon. Real life, I'm sorry to say, isn't perfect.
