Poker is getting bigger and bigger in Europe and players are able to find big tournaments all over the Continent. Including Sweden, where Team UltimateBet's Johan Storakers just took down the 2007 Swedish Open Poker Championships. Johan marched through the 96-player field and defeated Conny Sandgren heads-up when his pocket Kings crushed Sandgren's K-J.

If you look over Johan's long, long list of tournament cashes, you'll see he's made the money all over the globe. Stockholm, Helsinki, Paris, Barcelona, Vienna, Baden, Melbourne. If you aren't up on your European geography and that list of locations doesn't impress you, I take it you've heard of Los Angeles and Las Vegas (and I take it you at least know that Melbourne ain't in Europe). Johan has also fared well in the Caribbean, twice cashing in the Aruba Poker Classic, including a third-place finish in the WPT event back in 2005. He didn't cash in this year's Classic, but all it took was a little home cooking back in Stockholm for Johan to add another title to his resume.
