Here's Your Shot at Fifteen Minutes of Fame

If you've ever wanted to be on television (for reasons other than your release from the rehab clinic) UltimateBet is giving you a chance to become the next poker TV superstar. The Best Damn Poker Show will feature 18 carefully-chosen players who will receive instruction for Phil Hellmuth and Annie Duke as they battle their way to a six-handed final table.

So, how do you add your name to the roster? There are two paths to potential poker greatness:
  • Create your own audition video, one so brilliant and witty and outrageous that the poker show simply wouldn't The Best Damn Poker show without you. There will be a link where you can upload your videos, so you have a little bit of time to plan your masterpiece
  • Or, you can play in Sunday's Best Damn Poker Show qualifying tournament. We're holding a $20+2 event at 8pm ET this Sunday, and if you do well you'll win money just like any other tournament. But, if you finish in the top 30, you'll also be interviewed to determine if you have the, ah, expansive personality that makes for compelling television.
Once the Best Damn eighteen players are selected they'll be whisked (or flown, if that's more convienient) to the Pechanga resort in California, where they'll battle each other from December 5th thru the 7th, until we have a winner.

So if you've been dreaming of a chance to show off your poker chops on television, and you don't have any pressing engagements the first week of December (come on, there's nothing you can't cancel), get in front of a camera or get in front of your computer on Sunday.
