A reminder that NBC's coverage of the National Heads-Up Poker Championships kicks off today at noon. My TV listings don't include it, but I think there's a good chance that we'll see the epic battle between Phil Hellmuth and Tom "durrrr" Dwan. Well, the battle itself wasn't so epic--Dwan knocked Phil out on the third hand when his Tens cracked Phil's Aces. But the tirade that followed was no doubt epic, the crowd went berserk, and there was a metric ton of Internet discussion and hype when a series of Dwan-Hellmuth heads-up cash games was potentially in the offing. Maybe replaying that whole ghastly episode will get the interested parties talking again about setting up a match.
