Going Deep In Copenhagen

Twenty-four players qualified at UltimateBet for the European Poker Tour's Copenhagen event, and two of those players made deep runs to finish in the money. The poker player who goes by MoodyRiver crashed through the bubble to finish in 28th place and collected $9,266. But the ending was abrupt for shakh2, who made the final table and fought his way to the top five when he was knocked out in cruel fashion by top online player Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.
All the money went in before the flop and shakh2 learned that his A-3 was way behind ElkY's pocket queens. The dealer spread the flop and the door card was a magnificent ace, giving shakh2 a moment of triumph...but just a moment, because the flop also contained a queen to give ElkY a set. A tough way to go out of a major tournament, but shakh2 collected $141,310 for his outstanding play.
