Get Ready For Your Closeup

A week and a day until the 2007 Aruba Poker Classic begins. I'm slowly accumulating all the gear I'll need to take down there (suntan lotion, digital recorder, thong), but I'll also need to get a really good haircut as well. Because the Classic will be televised by the Discovery Network and their cameras will be following the action the whoe week. And while I only managed about .03 seconds of airtime last year (and I've been shut out during ESPN's World Series coverage) you never know when the unblinking eye will be focused on you. And if I find myself in front of the camera, I plan on looking fantastic. 

If you make a deep, deep run in the Aruba Poker Classic, you'll be part of Bluff Magazine's live coverage of the final table. Just as they did during the World Series, Bluff will live-stream the final table on the Internet, giving poker fans around the world a chance to follow the action.

So in addition to your sunglasses and bathing suit (I was just kidding about the thong, really) you'll need to do what it takes to look your best in Aruba. Because millions and millions and millions of people might be watching as you march your way to the final table.
