Annie Duke's Main Event came to an abrupt end yesterday when she was eliminated on Day 1. She raised with A-K, got one caller, and moved in the last of her chips after a 5-3-3 flop. Her opponent called with a pair of Sixes, they held up, and Annie's run at the World Championship was over.

Mark "P0ker H0" Kroon manuevered through the Day 1 minefield yesterday and ended the night with 38,000 in chips. He was up to 110,000 at one point yesterday before taking some hits late that whittled down his stack. But he's still in the running with a long, long, LONG way to go before we crown our new World Champion.
