Didn't I Warn You?

Yes, I did. Back on April 29th I wrote a little post that said poker was about to be eclipsed as the world's most popular game. Roshambo (or Rock, Paper, Scissors, or RPS, or whatever you like) is primed to become the Biggest Thing Ever.
OK, I'll admit, I wrote that with my tongue planted firmly in my cheek. I didn't truly believe. But yesterday the New York Times (the TIMES, man!) published an article about Roshambo's sudden leap in popularity. The gentlemen over at the uber-popular Freakonomics blog mentioned the NYT piece, and linked to other things they've written about what they describe as "one of our very favorite sports".
It's started. We are at the dawn of the Roshambo Epoch. And where, pray tell, can you hone your scissors, quarry the mightiest rock, and...unscroll the smoothest of paper (sorry, froze up there)? Why, right here at UltimateBet, where you can play Roshambo against the most formidable opposition on Earth.
Admittedly, poker is still a wee bit bigger that Roshambo. And maybe it always will be thus. But don't be blindsided by the Next Big Thing. Because, it's coming.
