Big Stack, Short Stack

Two very familiar names are still alive in the World Poker Tour's World Championship. With Day 3 in the books, Phil Hellmuth is right where he thinks he always should be--atop the leaderboard. Phil has $1.83 million and is in prime position to make a run at his first WPT title. And even for a player with his dazzling poker resume, winning the WPT World Championship and the nearly $4 million first prize would be a signature accomplishment.
But 53 other poker players still stand in Phil's way, and one of them is Team UltimateBet's Jim "KrazyKanuck" Worth, who currrently stands in 47th place with $230,000. It looks like Jim's stack took a hit late in the day, but he's still standing, and even with the blinds about to rise to $6,000/$12,000 with a $1,000 ante Jim has some time to find the hand that will double him up and put him back in contention.
Play resumes at 3pm ET, and we'll keep an eye on how Phil and Jim fare during today's session.
