Annie's Turn...Almost

With Phil Hellmuth making two final tables so far during the World Series it looked the other night like Annie Duke was going to duplicate the feat. Having already booked a 3rd place finish in the $2,500 Omaha/Stud Hi-Lo event, Annie was in prime position to make the final table in the $5,000 Omaha Hi-Lo tournament. Down to 15 players or so she had about 150,000 chips and looked to be a serious contender to win her second WSOP bracelet in Omaha Hi-Lo.
But it wasn't to be. Annie lost two big pots in a row when her opponents flopped two pair and there wasn't a qualifying low hand, and those big hands decimated her stack. She eventually went out in 13th place, collecting $15,134. Not a bad result, but not the one she was hoping for.
