Satellite your way to Millions

If you want to play with the BIG BOYS, then satellites are the way to go. The great thing about them is your get a BIG BANG for your buck. When I first started to play poker online, I really wanted to play with the Big Boys and I had 2 choices. Somehow find a way to get $10k for the buy in, and 2k for the travel, or I could play a poker satellite for $20 and try that way. Over the years I've won most, if not all my trips through satellites. 5 WSOP seats, Paris, Foxwoods, Tunica twice, Bahamas 6 times, LA 3 times, Niagara falls, Reno, and last but not least, Aruba. I've won 8 Aruba trips this year already. The best part of playing satellites for me is after you win the first one, you get cash for any seats you win after that. Just in Aruba satellites this year, I've won $59,500 and a trip. Over the last 5 years, I've won 47 Aruba trips. You do the math.

Satellites give different poker players with different levels of bankrolls, a shot at a big payday. Even someone with only $10, could play a satellite and eventually end up in a 10k buy in. It is because of this, that satellite play is just way different than a normal MTT.

One reason I like satellites, is for that reason. Most of these satellites to win seats are filled with poker players who played a satellite to get into another satellite. Generally this means players will be weaker overall and I feel I can exploit this. Believe me, when you're on the bubble for a 12k seat, and you have $50 dollars in your account, you're going to be playing scared. Another reason I like satellites, is because I find that my aggression works well in them. Basically you are playing to "WIN", and not to cash. It just brings a different mentality to the game. Another thing I like about satellites is people will make crucial mistakes for you. If first pays the same things as 20th and there is 21 people left, and you are middle stack with AA, just fold it. Players just can't seem to do it though, and I can't count the times, someone has won a seat for me, doing this.

Last but not least, the best thing about satellites is it gives you a chance to win millions of dollars for nothing, meet some of the best players, and see the world. I am truly blessed to live this lifestyle, and I just want to inspire others to do the same.
