With College and Pro football around the corner, along with the best weather Wisconsin has to offer, what more can you ask for. That's why I consider fall a big sundae, and Aruba is the cherry on top. ARUBA, ARUBA, ARUBA that's all that's on my mind. If you haven't been there, do yourself a BIG favor and go. It's like poker fantasy camp x 100. There is poker 24-7, but there is so much more. Yes there are beautiful beaches, beautiful girls, great restaurants, but the really great part, is the people you get to hang out with. All the other online players that you spend 40 hours a week playing with, you finally get to meet. Over the last five years in Aruba I've had the great pleasure of meeting and making some of the greatest friends of my life. The "Great debo34" and I have been rooming in just about every tournament that poker has to offer. I love to play with Shawn Rice, because I hate being the worst player at the table, KK and legggggggggggy are also friends for life. I've also learned a lot from meeting a lot of the great online players that play on UB. Knuckle head, brsavage, fatcats, Annette_15 to name a few. Speaking of, I think it's important we all acknowledge what an amazing accomplishment she made by becoming the youngest , and first ever female world champion. Congrats Annette, we are all very proud of you.
Along with all the people I meet there, there is a group of my close friends from Wisconsin that go. Jon Green, Wisco Murray, and not to mention, "The Great" Phil Hellmuth. On top of that, there are about 12 other guys from Madison, who will be making the trip this year. Look for someone from Madison at the Final Table. I always look forward to the things we do away from poker in Aruba. Golfing, Booooooooze crooooooooozes, and just not working. It's hard to golf when you have 11 bracelets on, so I have to give Phil, a lot of strokes, but it normally works out I really look forward to meeting even more people, and as always, hope to do well in the tournament. Feel free to come up to me, and introduce yourself, I'll buy you a drink
