It's that time of year again, Vegas baby! 40 days of non stop poker. If you love poker, this is living the dream. Even as I pack for the month long stay, my heart starts pounding and I get all fired up, there is no other feeling in the world like the WSOP.
When you walk into the poker room at the the Rio and you see the hunderds of tables and the thousands of players, it's a rush, but what really gets me is the sounds. The sounds of 3000 players playing with there chips, the bad beat screams, and the endless noise of poker, that is really what I love.
I have played in the main event of the WSOP for the last 11 years and have never cashed. Last year I was the chip leader of day one for most of the day, took a couple of really bad beats/bad plays and was out day two. That does not stop me, year 12 is the charm, and i have a great feeling about this year. Stay tuned.. i will give you a daily update of all the poker and party's and WSOP happenings....hope to CYA all soon at the tables.
