UB Cross Canada Tour to name a few

Last year I did more travelling than in many years before, and as fun as that was, it was starting to wear on me. I was missing out on many things at home and decided to step back a bit and refocus on some things in my game by practicing online and spent some quality time at home. I've experienced winter at it's full force for the first time in 5 years while at home which convinced me the cold way that being on the road in warm exotic places wasn't so damn bad! On the up side of things, I've enjoyed a lot of quality time with my daughter and have gotten involved with her hockey which has been an amazing experience.
I have been concentrating online in playing a lot more tournaments and sitngos as of late to work on some areas of my game that I thought needed some improvement. I think it's working well as I feel I am playing well. I'm looking forward to tackling the live tournaments again starting in March.
Coming into March my schedule is going to get pretty insane again. I have new projects on the go which start to move forward in March along with tournaments and speaking engagements. UB is sponsoring the Cross Canada Tour featuring all of it's pros speaking about the game we all love in various cities across Canada.
That will take up a fair amount of time and energy but will be a lot of fun.
I'm starting off March out in Calgary for the Canadian Heads up Championships and am hoping for a great result while there. Heads up in my opinion is about the most fun thing you can play in poker and one of my best games so I'm really looking forward to this event. The end of March, April and May is full of tournaments, poker cruises and everything else leading up to the Summer's WSOP.
I'm hoping my little stint at home has helped me get prepared for the upcoming months of intense play.
