I am on my way home from Toronto Canada stuck in the airport with a flight delay. It seems like every time I fly there is some kind of a problem. I like to fly, I just hate the airports. UB should have its own private plane to take all its players to all of the events. I'd have Phil fly the plane and have Annie in the control tower telling him what he is doing wrong.
Toronto is unreal! Great sports, great food and the people here couldn't be nicer. Phil, Shawn Rice, Debo, KK and I were in town to kick off the Cross Canada Tour. We are going to 5 cities over the next few weeks and are giving poker seminars in each city. If you get a chance, do yourself a favor and attend. Phil rocked Toronto and me and the guys had a blast talking poker with everyone. It is really great to see 300 people show up and have such a desire to get better at the game we all love. I wish I could have stayed and talked to all of them, they were great. But I got bad beat and got sick half way through the event. Thanks to Debo, Shawn and KK who really came through for me and had my back. Thanks a lot guys.
Next week we are all with Annie in Montreal and Ottawa. About 6 years ago I had the pleasure of going to one of Annie's camps and it was the smartest thing I ever did. To this day I use a lot of what I learned that weekend from her. "She is pound for pound the smartest person I've ever been around". If you get a chance to come, bring a lot of paper because the notes you will take you will use for the rest of your poker days.
Reno is only a few weeks away and it looks like UB will have around 60-70 players there. I can't wait! I have been going to the WPT Reno for the past 5 years and have always done well there; and this year the UB party promises to be one to remember. Hope to cya all there….H0
