California and UBOC2

I just spent 5 days in Temecula
The first night was getting acquainted at the bar, and then a late dinner. This was great time. It was really cool to see how everyone was excited to be there. I met some very cool people the first night. It was funny how I recognized a lot of them from the videos they had sent in via you tube. I watched all of them and was very impressed. Keith Woernle was just one of the video contest winners who were there. If you haven't seen the video, you have to check it out, its great. I also met longtime UB players who I had never met, the_dean221 and himagain23, both great players and a pleasure to be around.
After dinner we took over 2 cash game tables and played a 1/2 no limit game that played like a 10/25 game. We played some massive pots ,and had a good time chatting and drinking.
The next 3 days we spent around 12 hours a day doing the show. As far as results from the show, I think it airs late January so stay tuned.
The end of the show couldn't be any better from a timing standpoint. It ended Thursday, and Friday UBOC2 started. So far the UBOC has been a disappointment for me. After 5 events I have 0 cashes and have only made it fairly deep in 1 tournament.
The good news is, there are many more events and am happy with my play in general.
3 times I have gotten it in with my opponent drawing to 2 outs and lost. That's just the breaks of the game. Hopefully it will turn around for me.
