Back home

Well it's nice to be home. I've been gone the better part of a month and was really missing home. I was in Madison for a weekend of football and fun, then in Costa Rica for 5 days. This was my first time to Costa Rica, and although different from the States, it was enjoyable.

While in Costa Rica, I along with fellow UB'ers p0ker h0, and Shawn Rice were given rock star treatment. We got to tour the huge building that houses 300+ employees working for UB. We had lunch with department heads, who listened to ideas we had to offer on site improvements. Everyone down there was receptive to any ideas we had. I don't think the trip could have gone any better.

Poker has taken a back seat recently for me. With being gone so much, and now being home and needing some family time it looks to be that way for another week or so. My son is out of school for the week and I have some stuff planned for the 2 of us to do together. Laying low for a week is just what I need.

Next week I'm taking my wife Erin with me to New Orleans. We are both excited about the trip since neither of us has ever been. Ill be back home just in time for the UBOC2  tournaments.
