You'll just need to provide some basic information: your preferred screen name, a password, a security ID question, and contact details. Please note that opening this account to engage in online poker play with us does not commit you to anything and your information will never be shared with another party for any use. Poker Play: Fun Money Accounts

All new poker play accounts are immediately credited with 2000 play chips. This will allow you to sit down at any play chip table with stakes 100/200 or less and play poker online. If your total play chip balance is less than 200 you can easily replenish your chips. Simply go to 'My Account', click on 'get more chips', and another 2000 will be added.

Finding Your Friends To Play Poker Online

UltimateBet.com has a unique feature called UltimateBuddy™. This is a free program embedded into the game application that will let you know instantly if your poker and blackjack buddies are online at any site within the CEREUS platform. You will know when they join a game and what type it is. UltimateBuddy™ can even take you directly to that table, allowing you to play online poker with your friends in seconds. You can also keep notes about your friends and their game play. In order to access it, all you need to do is log into the game application and click on UltimateBuddy™ logo, located on the left side of the screen. The software will pop-up immediately.

Playing Poker: Finding a Real Money Table

Whether you're looking for a specific game, or want to join up with friends who are playing, you can easily find what you are looking for! After you open the game, select the type of game you would like to play, Poker, BlackJack, EBJ, Roshambo (all located on the left side of the game lobby). Once you choose a game type, click on the "Real Money" button below your game selection to see real money games and tournaments. To locate a ring game, click on the "Games" tab, and then choose which type of game you'd like to play by clicking on the appropriate tab. Scroll down through the list to find a game.

How To Play Poker At UltimateBet:

Single click on the real money table of your choice and you will see who is playing poker, who is on the waitlist, and the stake level for that game.

Double click on real money table and that table will open. To sit down and play, single click on any open seat.

You'll be asked how much of your available account balance you want to bring to the table for poker play. The money you request will be automatically removed from your account and taken to the table as chips with which you can place a bet. When you leave a table, your chips are immediately exchanged for cash and deposited to your account.

How the Game Lobby Works:

There are 3 types of poker play at UltimateBet.com: Real Money, UltimatePoints™ and Free Games. Choose the type of game by clicking on the buttons on the left side of the Game Lobby.

Game types are further divided into Games, Scheduled Tournaments, and Sit and Go Tournaments. Regular ring games are found under the Games tab.

There is a variety of card games from which you can choose. Currently, UltimateBet.com offers:

Each game type has a list of tables and where applicable, their respective:

  • Stakes
  • Number of players seated
  • Number of players waiting
  • Blinds
  • Average pot size
  • Percentage of the times the Flop is seen
  • Number of hands dealt per hour
  • Type (if applicable.. such as a 'kill game')
Note that you may have to scroll down to see all the tables within a poker play type and evaluate the type of bet required.

You can sort any of the columns by clicking on the column heading. For example, if you are looking to play online poker at a specific stake level, you can click the head of that column and it will sort with largest stake level first. Click on the column head again and it will sort with the smallest stake level first. Remember, real money and play chip poker bet tables are sorted separately. You can also sort by stakes or number of players seated across game types, by clicking on the appropriate tab.

Want to know at a glance if you're looking at a real or poker play chip table? Check the balance status at the top of the Game Lobby - the type of game (Real Money, Play Chips, and UltimatePoints) and your current balance for that type of game will be displayed.
