FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I’ve sat down at a blackjack table with other players before. Isn’t that Elimination Blackjack™?No. Elimination Blackjack™ is a brand new and very unique style of Blackjack. Like regular Blackjack, it’s you against the dealer. But unlike regular Blackjack, you’re trying to survive by accumulating the most chips at the table all while avoiding being eliminated along the way. The player with the least amount of chips during each elimination round is eliminated. The player who survives the final table is the champion.
I’m familiar with the rules of Blackjack. Am I ready to play Elimination Blackjack™?
You’re pretty close. When playing against the dealer, familiar Blackjack rules apply (view our rules for online elimination blackjack). Be sure to read over our Game Highlights section for complete details on everything you need to know.
If another player has a better hand than me, but I still beat the dealer, do I win the hand?
Yes. Just like in regular Blackjack, you play each hand against the dealer. You don’t need to concern yourself with the hand values of the other players. You are simply trying to accumulate the most chips within a set number of hands in order to survive eliminations and ultimately win the game.
What’s the deal with the Secret Bet?
Each player has one Secret Bet which they may use at any time. The Secret Bet is a player’s opportunity to bet strategically without revealing what their bet is to the other players. It’s up to you when to make use of your Secret Bet. But remember, around the corner is an elimination round and if you’ve go the lowest amount of chips, you’re out.
If I lose all my chips before an elimination round, do I still get to play?
No. If you lose your chips, you have busted out of the tournament.
Can I split my cards, double down on a hand or surrender a hand like I would in Blackjack?
Players may split, double down or surrender a hand as outlined in the Elimination Blackjack™ Rules section.
